National Capital Area Disks Meeting #8 - 2025

March 21 at Carnegie Science Earth and Planets Laboratory

Purpose

This one-day meeting will bring together researchers studying planet formation, protoplanetary disks, debris disks, and their products. The goal is to excite everyone about recent results, provide an opportunity for networking, and foster collaboration in the National Capital Area.

Fee will be $25 and cover coffee, snacks, and lunch. On the payment page, please add "NCAD" and your name to the comment box.

Abstract Submission

Deadline for requesting a talk has passed: March 7

We may be able to accommodate last-minute posters. Email Alycia Weinberger to inquire. Posters can be up to 45 x 45 inches in size.

We are about 1.5 miles from the Van Ness or Friendship Heights Metro stops, with Metrobus connections to get close to campus.

Parking is free. We suggest parking in the first lot on the right after you turn onto Jocelyn Street or parallel along the driveway that leads past Greenewalt [3]. Street parking is also free and plentiful on Jocelyn or 32nd Streets. From the lot, the Greenwalt building [3] is up a set of stairs. Along the driveway, there is parking for vehicles with a disablilty placard and an accessible entrance to the Greenewalt Building.
