A Warm Person About to Wash the Mirror

The cool telescope and mirror

We're in the dark to a lot of the light around us. These images were taken with my Flir One infrared camera, which measures temperature using wavelengths around 10 microns. I'm an infrared astronomer by training, because infrared wavelengths let me study warm dust in places such as circumstellar disks.
